- Reinhard Schu Review added: 2018.06.04★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Apologies, I initially posted a review about a different place (a pub) here. Miller & Carter is a chain steak house. None of our table party had steak, so I cannot comment on them. We were hoping to dine outside in the lovely late afternoon sunshine, only to be told that food is not served outside. I had a classic burger, which was fine, but not the best burger I have had. Nothing special about it. The other members in our party ordered different starters (as our plan had all along been to have some light food outdoors). They did not like their food, although I am not sure what it was specifically they disliked.
Service was slow and chaotic. Several waiters appeared and disappeared, one after taking half of our orders, onky for another waiter to appear with a handheld device to actually take the order. Staff seemed inecperienced.
